Why FAME?

  • Laurie’s 10 years of physical therapist assistant experience on top of 20+ years of being a certified personal trainer gives her the right background to be your post-rehab personal trainer. You can be confident that she will communicate with your physical therapist team to continue down the right path.

  • Laurie has helped clients with significant medical challenges to exercise. If you have a chronic medical condition, Laurie will obtain a medical clearance from your physician to take any precautions with your FAME workouts.

    Laurie does not diagnose or treat any conditions.

  • Laurie doesn’t offer cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all fitness programming, like boot camps. Instead, she customizes programs based on your level of experience and goals, then properly progresses your routines.

  • Founder Laurie Gordon is a Certified Personal Trainer and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who customizes your program based upon your needs, ability, likes, and dislikes. With over two decades of experience, Laurie is here to guide you for part of your life-long fitness journey.

  • In addition to private sessions, Laurie has worked with couples and families or friends of 3-4 to exercise together at the FAME studio and at their homes.

  • If you have limited access or time to get to a gym, she advises you on how to exercise on the road complete with equipment recommendations and a workout with pictures and instructions.

  • Laurie helps clients make educated decisions about exercise equipment and tools to purchase including providing on-line links for specific ones.

  • Get the results you deserve in a stress-free and safe exercise environment. Laurie has been a certified personal trainer for more than twenty years and a licensed physical therapist assistant for almost 10 years. She utilizes her vast experience to guide you on your customized fitness journey.

  • Paula, 68, is retired and now plays more tennis, enjoys longer hikes, and goes to the FAME studio twice a week to exercise.

  • Nathan is a college student majoring in history. Nathan’s mother found FAME by searching Lessons.com more than three years ago. Nathan has been coming to the fitness studio once a week.

  • Amanda is a busy working professional, married with two very young daughters.

  • Jess has been with FAME for well over two years, and, in that time, has started consistently working out 2-3 times a week, increased her muscle strength, and experienced a decrease in everyday aches and pains.

  • Since Lauren had a very busy work schedule, Laurie developed 30-minute workouts for her to perform at home. Eventually, Lauren started coming to the FAME fitness studio twice a week. Then dialed it back to once a week, then again from 60- minute to 45-minute sessions. And then started to also attend a 30-minute circuit class at FAME.

  • Pearlbea is a retired entrepreneur and a licensed social worker. When she was younger, she was a competitive skier out West. Pearlbea has been with FAME for over two years.
